In Vlora, DP has no representative of Greek minority or Cham community

TIRANA, March 11 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama said that the list of candidates for MP of the Democratic Party in Vlora does not have any representatives of the Greek minority and the Cham community.

In the meeting he held today with the candidates for MP of the Socialist Party for Vlora, Rama emphasized that, “The list has 12 names. The other side has produced an illegitimate list of 17 candidates. This is a sign of disorientation and ridicule from within to get people into trouble with each other. And, although there are 17 people, there is no place for a minority representative.”

“This is very strange. What is more, the representative of another large community here, which is the Cham community, has also been left in total oblivion,” Rama stated.

While we, continued the prime minister, in our team we have a worthy representative of this community and not only do we have it on the list, but we have it in the maximum target number./r.e/p.s./
