We have already guaranteed more than 1.6 million vaccines, but we are continuing to reach other bilateral contracts so that our ambitious 14-month vaccination plan goes according to this pace “, stressed Manastirliu.
The Minister of Health also spoke about the legal changes in the Law on Drugs and Pharmaceutical Services.
“We did not waste time authorizing the marketing of antiCOVID vaccines, but we were extremely careful to approve and give immediate marketing authorization for vaccines that are authorized by the EMA and FDA and certainly pre-qualified by the WHO. The changes we bring for approval not only regulate the procedures for trading drugs or vaccines in an emergency time, through conditional trading authorization, but above all offer more guarantees of costs and benefits.
