TIRANA, Feb 14 /ATA/ – The Albanian Road Authority announced Sunday that the national Milot-Lezhe road is now fully open to the traffic, several hours after the thoroughfare was closed due to heavy snowfall in the area.
The situation on the road was difficult, with many vehicles stranded for hours after two trucks were involved in a head-on collision, blocking the traffic along the road.
Road Authority said the road is now fully open to traffic in both directions.
“Drivers should drive cautiously and use winter tire or chains, reduce speed, respect road signs and the directives from the Traffic Police,” Road Authority stated.
