TIRANA, February 12/ATA/- The General Director of Taxation, Delina Ibrahimaj stated on Friday that the Fiscalization process will reduce tax evasion.
“If earlier, were used hand written invoices, VAT invoices, invoices which were completed and signed by both parties, the seller and the buyer, today pursuant to the law “On electronic invoice and the turnover monitoring system”, taxpayers who conduct transactions (sale – purchase) with entities issue only electronic invoices for goods or services sold,” Ibrahimaj said in a televised interview.
“As of January 1, 2021 the public entities have received only electronic invoice for goods or services purchased by taxpayers, as the only valid tax documentation for supplies received. With regard to cashless transactions between taxpayers, business to business, this law will take effect on July 1, 2021. Related to the cash transactions by taxpayers, business to customer, regardless of tax liability or annual turnover, this law will take effect on September 1, 2021, completing the whole reform,” Ibrahimaj said. //a.i/
