TIRANA, February 4 /ATA/ Albania improved by 2 places its position in the report of ‘Transparency International’ on Corruption Perceptions Index
During a press conference, Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that he is aware that corruption remains a serious problem and the serious fight against corruption, he added, is a necessity so that to have a serious impact on the entire infrastructure of the economy and the whole establishment of freedoms and rights.
“If compared to other countries in the region, Albania also has an increasing trend for the better from the report of 2013 for 2012. This has not happened with other countries and this is a fact”, said Rama.
Rama said that when he refers to 2013, he has never asked the people to think that a miracle has happened.
“There are no miracles, no magic wands, things require work, time and patience”, he concluded. /r.e/p.s./
