TIRANA, January 15 /ATA/- Director of the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development Frida Krifca discussed during a meeting with the leaders Pëllumb Aleksi and Ervis Mema from the Association of Beekeepers in Tirana on the special importance of bees in the ecosystem and rural economy of our country.
“We talked about the challenges faced by beekeepers, the desire for more organization and good practices to preserve bees and cultivate organic honey, for the present and future of beekeeping,” said Krifca.
“I feel good that during 2020 we supported all beekeepers who applied to the National Support Scheme, 1450 beekeepers,” she said.
“Albania is a blessed country with magical nature, land, rich hills, and quality production and with the queen of life, the bee, so policies in support of this sector will continue,” said the director of ARDA. /a.a/p.s./
