TIRANA, January 4 /ATA/ The Albanian Road Authority has already begun implementation of the plan of measures for maintenance of road axes during winter time so that to guarantee smooth and safe movement of vehicles along all road segments in the country.
Director of Albanian Road Authority Ergys Verdho was in Korça to see closely the measures of road maintenance that are taken.
Verdho stated that, the Road Authority and road maintenance contractors are on full alert for every potential situation.
“500 vehicles, 5 thousand tons of salt and about 1200 employees, all over the country, are ready to guarantee movement without any obstacles and above all safe for drivers” – said Verdho.
While since November 15, in the regional and central directorates were set up emergency headquarters where there are reported during 24 hours the problems and the situation in the road axes. /a.a/p.s./
