TIRANA, Dec 31 /ATA/ – Overcast skies with moderate to heavy rain and thundery weather are expected to sweep across Albania on Thursday, the last day of this year, the Military Meteorological Service said.
Moderate to heavy showers of rain and thunder storms are expected to prevail mostly in the first half of the day across the country’s northwest and southwest.
The wind will blow southerly at an average speed of 1 to 8 meters per second, and around 12 to 18 meters per second in coastal areas, triggering 4 meter high sea waves.
