TIRANA, Dec. 31 /ATA/ During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology at NIPHK and private laboratories using the method RT-PCR, a total of 1,181 samples taken from the Kosovo’s Clinical and Hospital Service and tracking of case contacts on the field were tested, of which 234 turned out to be positive.
In the last 24 hours, have been reported 8 fatalities. The total number of positive cases has reached 51,144 out of 182,329 persons suspected with SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the number of fatalities has reached 1,332.
In the last 24 hours, 564 patients have recovered putting the overall number of cured cases to date at 40,987, while the number of active cases is 8,825.//a.i/
