TIRANA, Dec 26 /ATA/ – Italian investments in Albania are predominantly focused on three main sectors of the country’s economy.
According to data on the inflow of foreign direct investments published by the Bank of Albania, French investments in the country have kept growing in recent years.
The French business activity in Albania mainly comes from construction companies that have been hired as subcontractors of the Trans-Adriatic- Pipeline project, as well as from the activity of French companies involved in production of identification documents, as well as in the or in the mining sector such as bitumen exploration and processing.
French investments in Albania were estimated worth 29 million euros in the first three quarters of 2020, according to central bank.
