TIRANA, December 22 /ATA/ Beginning from January 1, all businesses that have relations with the state will issue only electronic invoices as valid tax documentation, according to the new law on fiscalization.
This is the first step in launching the new fiscalization system, which will radically change the way businesses today perform billing.
General Director of Tax Office Delina Ibrahimaj assured that the data of the taxpayers will be protected and that the software producers will not have access to the data of the Tax Administration.
“There is no risk”, stated Ibrahimaj during a media interview.
Through Fiscalization, said Ibrahimaj, the Tax Administration will have the opportunity to control in real time all invoices issued both in cash and without cash, to avoid tax evasion.
Ibrahimaj said that the fiscalization reform will enable a 15% increase in tax revenues./p.s./
