TIRANA, Nov 12 /ATA/ The handicraft sector, one of the businesses with an old tradition in Albania, whose products are much in demand in domestic market and foreign market, will have for the first time a register of all craftsmen practicing traditional trades and techniques in our country.
Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj, said that yesterday the “Find a Master” initiative was launched to make sure that the voice of Albanian craftsmen be heard and their professional skills are passed on to younger generations.
While in March 2021, for the first time we will be able to have a register of all omnipresent craftsmen in our territory.
The reestablishment of the titles “Master” and “Assistant Master” for artisans aims not only to increase the value of professional work but also to transform “Made in Albania” into a source of economic development through creation of small enterprises.
“To preserve and promote these values, the agreement was signed between the National Chamber of Handicrafts and the National Agency for Employment and Skills” – says Denaj.
