TIRANA, Oct. 20 /ATA/- The Police is monitoring the citizens abiding by the new measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the mandatory wearing of a protective mask, which is an obligation for all citizens, as soon as they leave home.
During the controls, police structures have imposed 522 administrative measures with a value of 3,000 ALL each and accompanied 12 others to police stations for failing to implement the government’s decision to wear masks in public spaces.
Traffic Police imposed fines on the passengers who had no family ties with the drivers of private vehicles and were found without protective masks in the vehicle, as well as on passengers found without protective masks on public transport vehicles.
The State Police called on citizens to wear the protective masks and respect the safety protocols as the only way to break the chain of infection. /a/.i/
