TIRANA, October 13 /ATA/ There have been landslides and falling rocks along some road axes in the country due to heavy rainfall all over the country over the last 24 hours.
The Albanian Road Authority reported that the contracting companies are working to clear the roads.
There have been falling stones and alluvium during the night along the road axes Ura e Leklit-Këlcyrë in the area of Dragot, in the road axis Berat-Çorovoda, in the road axis Korçë-Ersekë-Leskovik the area of Qafë i Qarrit, Barmash, in the road axis Sarandë -Butrint and in some other axes.
“The directorate of the Southern region of Gjirokastra took all measures with the maintenance contractors and the staff of the directorate, where the normal passage was ensured in all road axes”, informed Albanian Road Authority./a.gjonaj//a.a/p.s./
