Last week, U.S. Embassy Tirana in partnership with Center Ideo and Destil Creative Hub launched the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), a U.S. State Department flagship program under the White House-led Women’s Global Development and Prosperity Initiative.
Albania is one of only 53 countries where this program is being implemented. 25 Albanian women and girls, with peers from around the globe, will participate in a facilitated business development program which aims to help them reach their full economic potential and create conditions for increased stability, security, and prosperity.
Secretary Mary Royce greeted the Academy participants and explained how important this program is to the participating women, their families, and communities.//a.i/
