No government reshuffle for time being, reconstruction is challenge

TIRANA, September 3 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that he is not going to make any changes in the government for the time being.

Speaking to “Top Channel” TV, PM Rama answered the question whether he will make changes in the government.

“No, for the time being,” said the prime minister.

He also stressed that he does not lead the electoral campaign in Vlora and has never done so before.

“The leader of the electoral campaign in Vlora has been and is Damian Gjiknuri, so this is just fake news. I have undertaken to take care of Durrës, because it is an area of special importance at this stage when we have to form there a spectacular example of reconstruction, after all that tragedy that passed “, said PM Rama.

The prime minister said that, “Durrës is the most damaged part, it is also the most challenging part of the reconstruction, because a lot of work really has to be done there”.

“We have gone ahead with the projects. As you are aware of for the reconstruction in Durrës we have an agreement that I made with the Prince of the United Arab Emirates and it is the United Arab Emirates that will support us financially and with technical expertise in order to manage to do something fantastic in Durrës.

Asked why only 3 of the ministers have been delegated to the regions, PM Rama said that, “This has nothing to do when it comes to running the regions”.

“We are not talking about leading the campaign. The campaign is still far away. Here we are talking about those who are caretakers at this stage, but this is to be seen in the process and whoever gets tired, will go to the second line and even to the bench. Whoever has the energy will go on the attack to the end. So it’s neither final nor related to whether or not you are a minister. To be or not to be a minister is not related to this, because it depends on where the party is looking for you, as they say “, said PM Rama. /j.p/r.e/p.s./
