TIRANA, Sept 3 /ATA/ – By Maela Marini/ PM Edi Rama inspected on Thursday the construction site of Lungomare 2, in Vlora where another awesome public space, will take shape, including a 5 star beach, Olympic pool and pool for children as well as the promenade connecting Skela with Uji i Ftohtë.
Prime Minister said that “with this investment, the surface obtained is 2-fold the area it was before, when it was like slipping into a faux pocket.”
The mayor of Vlora, Dritan Leli, informed that the 5 star beach on the second segment of Lungomare is taking shape day to day.
“Most of the work for construction of the Olympic pool, which will be a salt and fresh water one, has completed. There will also be a children’s pool. At the same time, at the back, there will be a dedicated parking space with 160 vehicle capacity, there will be facilities dedicated to people with disabilities and service provision,” said Leli.
Leli emphasized that “the road expansion is over and the side wall is cast in quality black concrete.” He also said that the beach has been revitalized thanks to a public investment. ” An important beach area has been revitalized through the use of natural gravel creating a major attraction. The promenade continues uninterruptedly,” he said.
Leli added that this is one of the best investments that has produced an attraction up to the standards in terms of design and implementation.
The project will be completed by next spring.
