TIRANA, August 13/ATA/-The General’s Beach, which is located in the Kavaja area, is a destination not to be missed.
Minister of Tourism and Environment Blendi Klosi posted in the social media photos from the beautiful bay of General’s beach saying that it is an area with rich terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity.
“General’s beach is not to be missed at dawn and sunset, natural beaches with a rich terrestrial and aquatic biodiversity”, – underlined Klosi.
Kavaja has a coastline of almost 30 kilometers starting from Golem and ending in Spille.
Among them is the General’s Beach, which is located between two rocky capes and is formed by the accumulating activity of sea waves.
It consists of fine yellow to gray sand. It has the shape of a horseshoe and is surrounded by soft slopes of hills with a height of about 100 m, covered with Mediterranean shrubs, always green: laurel, heather, mare, etc.
These landscapes of fabulous beauty, crystal clear waters and sand attracted the Italian general in the 1930s to come by yacht to this pristine beach and relax with his family. Along with the appraisal, he left the beach also the name of his high military rank./p.s./
