PRISTINA, Aug 8 / ATA/ – Kosovo’s National Institute of Public Health said in its daily briefing that 181 new cases have been confirmed after 463 samples were tested at the Molecular Microbiology Laboratory in the past 24 hours.
The country’s total of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases is 9.869 after 39.741 suspected individuals have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus, whereas 303 patients, mostly with underlying health conditions, have passed away since the first coronavirus case was identified in March.
A total of 125 more patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total of recovered people to 5480 since March, while data from the Public Health Institute show that there are 3.961 active cases in Kosovo.
