TIRANA, July 30 /ATA/- Head of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party Taulant Balla reiterated the significance of depoliticizing the election administration, citing the example of the investigation conducted by SPAK (Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution), which according to him, revealed the theft of votes where the SMI tripled the vote and the DP doubled it.
According to Balla, the example of this investigation is a fact that should encourage us to undertake the depoliticization of the electoral administration as soon as possible.
In his speech, during the plenary session at the Assembly, Balla underlined that the constitutional changes that are expected to be approved today, give the citizens the opportunity to already have two choices and not one, the party and the candidate.
“I want to say very clearly to the DP, the amendments that are approved today in the Albanian Assembly are the keys that enable everything you claim to want,” said Balla./p.s./
