TIRANA, July 16 /ATA/- Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that “the lists will be opened by the Albanian Assembly by law, custom and card”.
Reacting to the statement of President Ilir Meta, Prime Minister Rama said that “Ilir Meta says the change of the system, the removal of coalitions, the opening of the lists are done only by referendum. Nowhere is a referendum held on these issues. While here neither the system will change, nor the coalitions will be banned, but the lists will be opened by the Albanian Assembly by law, custom and card “.
“As for the eastern model, the coalition model we have is neither western, nor southern, nor northern, and therefore is nowhere to be found east or west. The new model will be German and completely European, a coalition exactly, with voice, figure and program, not a lobster basket”, – said Rama.
The Presidency reacted after the statement of Prime Minister Rama, emphasizing that “two referendums have taken place in Albania and in both cases the people have won”.
