TIRANA, June 21/ATA/ The Albania’s Minister of Interior, Sander Lleshaj held Saturday a meeting with the residents of Finiq, while emphasizing that “minorities have served as a bridge between the Albanian people and the Greek people. “
“I have followed with great concern the cases and reports of criminal activities, which focus mainly on “burglary of occupied homes”, which in the language of the Police are considered as minor crimes. But, basically in my opinion these are more serious crimes which tend to produce more adverse effects and major consequences, involving the economic and psychological consequences,” Minister Lleshaj stressed.
“The community, Police, local bodies and Interior Ministry common challenge is to address this phenomenon showing great seriousness and determination in order to make it possible to fight and put an end to this phenomenon. We need to change the approach by improving many aspects,” Minister Lleshaj said.
“We will strengthen the capacity of local police structures, both in human and organization terms, improving the training of law enforcement officers as well as maintaining the proper level of physical readiness necessary to ensure full professional activity through increased level of equipment. Our goal is to increase police structures efficiency and improve interactions with the public, “ Lleshaj added. //a.i/
