TIRANA, May 15/ATA/- The National Theaters’ architectural identity is lost, the director of the National Theater, Hervin Çuli said in a televised interview on Friday.
In his remarks, Çuli said that, “there have been ongoing discussions on theater issue not for two years, but for 6 years. Since the very first moment when I was appointed as the new director of the Theater, I made public my concerns over the conditions of the building both to the actors and audience, emphasizing that it does not meet the minimal conditions necessary for actors to work.”
“I have been working in this theater for 24 years and I do not understand why this issue has become part of an intense debate, when the building has already completed its mission and has been transformed into a ruined building. Over the past 30 years, the Theater has undergone interventions which instead of improving its quality have destroyed it,” Çuli stressed. //a.i/
