TIRANA, May 11/ATA/- Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister of State for Reconstruction Arben Ahmetaj held a video conference today with the foreign donors on Reconstruction process in Albania following the November 26 quake.
At the beginning of this video conference, PM Rama emphasized the concept of working together within the set deadlines and in accordance with the priorities set by the government, mainly related to housing, schools and public infrastructure.
“You need to take this priority-oriented approach further and make sure together that it is as well harmonized as possible with our funding needs,” said PM Rama.
The prime minister stressed the importance of working together. “We need to structure our communication through this task force and through the Technical Secretariat to ensure that all your good efforts are channeled in the right direction. The right direction means in a cohesive way with the vision and the program “, said PM Rama.
“We should not put in question the good will, but it is not enough. We must work together to strengthen our willpower and do a very good job that is the result of unity between us. So it is important for us, not just to communicate with each of you as we have done and will do, to make sure that each part of the work functions, but also to let you know the rest of the work. Everyone of you who is part of this program should be clear about what steps we need to take and what these steps are. This is very important to complete the whole panorama, and not to have only a part of the mosaic “, said PM Rama. /r.e/p.s./
