TIRANA, May 7/ATA/- DP leader Lulzim Basha shared Thursday a post by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on the key priorities of the Western Balkans presented in the Zagreb Summit : rule of law, values of democratic political systems, the fight against organized crime and corruption.
“There is no question, the Western Balkans belong in the EU. I call on their governments to continue delivering on reforms, particularly on the rule of law, the fight against corruption and guaranteeing media freedom,” the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen said.
“Grateful for EU help against Covid-19 and solidarity to assist Albania and its economic recovery. During EPP Zagreb Summit I reconfirmed the Democratic Party committment to the vital EU integration process and the clear roadmap of 15 condition. Our European future depends on their implementation, the leader of the Democratic Party of Albania, Lulzim Basha said.//a.i/
