TIRANA, May 5/ATA/- The Ministry of Finance and Economy is set to support through a self-employment program, the registered unemployed people who have a business idea.
The program subsidizes for all selected as beneficiaries the grant for starting a business up to the amount of 500 thousand ALL.
This program aims to promote self-employment through the creation of new enterprises by interested unemployed jobseekers. It is implemented and administered by the National Employment and Skills Agency.
To apply to this program, the applicant must be an unemployed jobseeker registered in the local employment structure, have a business idea, which is not contrary to the criteria of competitiveness, defined in the provisions of the Labor Code and declared based on a special form, which contains the description of the business idea, the importance, the necessary resources for realization of the business and the assessment of the condition of the premises where the business will take place.
A jobseeker can benefit only once from this program. The Ministry of Finance and Economy, as responsible for employment issues, determines every year the priorities for employment promotion programs according to geographical areas, economic sectors and the needs of jobseekers. / A.gjonaj / /a.g/p.s./
