TIRANA, May 2 /ATA/ The Tepelena bypass, one of the biggest and strategic investments the southern city has ever seen, is towards completion.
Following an arduous work that took more than a year, the Tepelena bypass, otherwise called “The South Balcony” is a new reality with regard to transformation of infrastructure at the entrance and exit of the city of Tepelena.
The Municipality of Tepelena announces that this investment is one of the main points of the national road that connects the southern region with the border of Greece. The infrastructural work adds to the beauty and enhances urban standards, in addition to creating opportunities for new investments in the field of tourism.
The Municipality of Tepelena has published photos of the new view that the city will have at the entrance, where a hotel is expected to be built soon to replace the current one known as the Tourism Hotel.
This is an investment of the government, in the follow-up to the country’s infrastructure development projects, which addresses once and for all the problems in this part of the road 1.8 km in length, a source of road accidents in the past.
The Tepelena Bypass connects two important segments, Levan-Tepelena and Tepelena-Kakavija, easing the circulation with impact on development of the area’s economy.
