TIRANA, April 2 /ATA/-The boreal city of Puka has been under snow during the last two days offering an amazing scenery.
The snow has covered everything while the lake and the surrounding mountains seem to be in perfect harmony.
The city’s lake is lined with resting places among the tall fir trees, from where one can climb the Han’s hill to explore the natural ski run or the meadows and hills not far from the city.
Puka, located about 145 km away from the capital Tirana, remains the favorite spot of mountain lovers as they can find there fresh air, tranquility and inspiration from nature. This alpine town carries all the tourist options to welcome local and foreign visitors.
Puka is also known for its large pine forest massif, covering an area of 400 hectares. The curative properties of pine are numerous. Puka also serves as a base for mountaineering, on Mount Munella, Tërbun highlands and Mount Krrab./k.s/j.p/p.s./
