TIRANA, March 19 /ATA/ – By A. Fortuzi/ Minister of Interior Sandër Lleshaj stated on Thursday that the majority of Albanians are respecting their life and of the others.
In a press release, Lleshaj said that 165 persons have been fined after 10:00 hrs by State Police for failure to comply with travel restrictions, the rest have been compliant.
“The overwhelming majority of Albanians are respecting their own life and of the others adhering to COVID-19 spread prevention rules. Unfortunately, there are some who continue to defy the rules. At least 165 people have been fined on Thursday after 10:00hrs by State Police for failure to comply with travel restrictions,” Lleshaj says.
“It’s time we show high responsibility rather than put on a brave face. Those who have no fear for their life should at least fear for the life of others. By moving in public premises we run the risk of contracting the virus and posing a threat to others.
