TIRANA, February 28/ATA/-The Albanian Ministry of Defense entered into an agreement valued at over $750,000 with Lockheed Martin, an American global security and aerospace company, for sustainment and maintenance support to the Integrated Sea Space Surveillance System (ISSSS).
This system enables Albania to become a stronger NATO ally by helping the country protect its territory.
Defense minister Olta Xhaçka hailed today the signing of this agreement appreciating it an added value to security.
The minister appreciated that the agreement is also an indicator of the consolidation of the great relations with our strategic partner, the USA./m.m/p.s./
