TIRANA, February 20/ATA/- The Democratic Party (DP) in opposition has reacted after President Ilir Meta provided several documents accusing the ruling majority of capturing the Constitutional Court.
DP Secretary General Gazment Bardhi said the documents made public today are shocking.
“Edi Rama’s government is part of a mafia organization to annihilate the independence of the Constitutional Court from the very beginning,” said Bardhi.
“The documents made public by the president are shocking. It is another unprecedented act that undermines the separation and balance between powers, the rule of law and citizens’ trust in justice, undoing the Justice Reform and deepening the political and institutional crisis in the country,” concluded Bardhi./p.s./
