TIRANA, February 6/ATA/-The Chairman of the Democratic Party in opposition Lulzim Basha said during a conversation with the citizens today that, “We shall do the utmost so that during the upcoming elections the Albanians use the e-vote system. Electronic voting and electronic counting is a priority issue of the Democratic Party and the united opposition at the roundtable of the Electoral Reform. These matters are high in the work program of the party”.
“This is a simple system that may not eliminate, but will make the process of selling the vote or identifying how voters have voted much harder,” he said. So it will make it much easier for citizens to express their will without being affected by dirty money or crime, ” said Basha.
Basha added that, “We shall do the utmost for the Albanians to vote with electronic equipment in the next Parliamentary and local elections in one day.”/p.s./
