TIRANA, November 13 /ATA/-The local currency Lek has strengthened its position in its exchange with the Euro, but it has devalued against the USD.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, on Wednesday the Euro was exchanged with 122.83 lekë, or 0.05 lekë less than yesterday, keeping in this way the falling trend begun since early November.
According to experts of the exchange rate, this situation is related with the demand and low offer which is expected to continue until after the New Year.
Whereas, the USD is exchanged with 111.5 lekë, about 0.04 lekë more than yesterday.
