TIRANA, October 22/ATA/- PM Edi Rama has cited European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker in response to the remarks of DP head, Lulzim Basha. According to the latter, the decision not to open the accession talks is attributed to the failure of Albanian govt.
Rama quoted European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker as saying:
“The European Union decision not to open the accession talks with North Macedonia and Albania is a grave historic mistake — a grave historic mistake,” Juncker said, speaking in French and using repetition to stress his point. “If we want to be respected, we have to keep our promises,” he said in the news conference. //a/i/
