TIRANA, Oct 21 /ATA/ – By Arbi Fortuzi/Independent Commission of Appeal (KPA) has decided to uphold the ruling of Independent Qualification Commission dismissing the prosecutor, Ramadan Troci, from duty.
Former prosecutor Troci who served in General Prosecution was dismissed by IQC on November 15, 2018, because IQC raised suspicions on hidden assets.
According to the judging panel, Genta Tafa Bungo, chair, Pamela Qirko repporteur and Suela Zhegu member, former prosecutor Troci did not pass two out of three criteria related to legitimacy of assets and professional competence.
In his remarks before the Commission at the hearing, Ramadan Troci agreed to the procedure but opposed the findings on his responsibility for hiding his assets.
