TIRANA, Oct 21 /ATA/ – Two weeks after discussion on revitalization of the ancient town of Dimali, youngsters, historians and archaeologists, representatives of local govt. met up in the ancient town on a feast day.
Minister of Tourism and Environment, Blend Klosi, also present in the activity, said that Dimali should develop into an accessible tourist destination and its revitalization will have an impact on development of tourism and local economy.
Minister Klosi put the emphasis on creation of a protected archaeological area which should be preserved.
The mayor Juliana Memaj asked for support of all institutions in the effort to revitalize Dimal and integrate it in the municipality development programmes.
Minister Klosi endorsed the initiative to transform this feast into a local traditional festival for the municipality.
The idea to name the municipality after Dimal was endorsed by Minister of Tourism as an opportunity to boost development of tourism and economy in municipality of Ura Vajgurore.
