TIRANA, October 19/ATA/- According to the Durrës Port Authority, in January-September 2019, trade exchanges with Russia constituted 24 % of total imports/exports.
While, trade exchanges with Turkey and Tunisia accounted for respectively, 18% and 12% of the total volume of freight processed at the country’s largest Port.
The main trade partners are Russia with 24% of trade volume, Turkey with 18%, Tunisia with 12%, US with 12%, Italy, and Malta respectively with 8%.
Meanwhile, trade exchanges with Greece, Ukraine, Spain, Egypt accounted for less than 5% of total volume of freight.
During January-September 2019, have been processed 3.12 million tons of freight at the Durrës Port.//a.i/
