TIRANA, October 11/ATA/- The German Ambassador to Albania, Peter Zingraf, in an interview for the Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA) stated that the German Parliament has voted by a large majority in favor of the opening of EU accession negotiations with Albania.
“We are holding intensive discussions with all our EU partners. We hope that a joint decision will be taken in Brussels in favor of the opening of accession negotiations with Albania,” German Ambassador stressed.
“The EU membership process is structured at different stages and divided into different chapters which is the best way to achieve transformation process of a country. I totally agree with this, ”Zingraf said.
According to Zingraf, the most important element in the context of Electoral Reform is the existence of voter confidence in the electoral process and in the political system.//a.i/
