TIRANA, October 11/ATA/-Albania plays tonight in Istanbul against Turkey at 8:45 pm, the match that can keep alive the prospect of our team getting qualified for “EURO 2020”.
During a press conference ahead of the match, Albania’s Coach Eddy Reja said: “We need to be fully focused because this is the only way we can get a good result.”
“This is a decisive match that can leave us out or gives us the opportunity to continue dreaming of a place in the European Championship. Therefore, it’s very important to do our best and come up with a positive result. We are aware of the values of the opponent team, but we are in desperate need of winning the match and in order to succeed, we must avoid mistakes”, – emphasized our national team coach.
Albania lost the first match against Turkey with the score 0-2 in March of the current year. The two teams are part of the Group H.
While in total, the matches between Albania and Turkey have ended with 5 wins for the Turkish team and 4 wins for our national team. Two matches have ended in a draw./p.s./
