Vata/ – “The alignment of legislation with the EU acquis in the field of healthcare, has been the highlight of the meeting that Minister of Health and Social Protection, Orgerta Manastirliu, had with European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, Vytenis Andriukaitis.
“Fruitful meeting with European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, Vytenis Andriukaitis, on alignment of legislation with the EU acquis in the field of healthcare and assistance through EU expertise to expand screening programs for prevention of cancer diseases and strengthening of vaccination measures,” according to Minister Manastirliu, who attended the World Vaccination Programme in Brussels.
Commissioner Andriukaitis promised further support for Albania in this sector through EC support instruments.
