TIRANA, Sept 11 /ATA/ An investment of Albanian Government, as a promise made in the light of University Pact, is reconstruction of the University of Arts in Tirana. Students of this University will soon have new learning and creative premises.
Minister of Culture Elva Margariti along with Rector Kastriot Caushi have seen first- hand the works in this building.
“The landmark building, a cultural monument, is undergoing a total revamp of the interior, entailing new electrical, plumbing and heating systems, and facade restoration work. The window frames will be reinforced and the existing ones, which are highly degraded, will be replaced based on the original model. The process of insulating the slab, the plumbing and electrical installations are well underway. We hope that in the second term of this academic year, students will study in new and more comfortable premises conducive to their artistic creativity,” Margariti emphasized.
