Grants for businesses operating in Vlora’s historic centre, second call for applications launched

TIRANA, Aug 30 /ATA/ – A second call for financial assistance through grants for the businesses operating in Vlora’s historic centre was launched on Friday.

With the Vlora Historic Centre restoration project about to complete on schedule, the TID Vlora Association (Tourism Development Zone) has opened the second call for businesses to apply for grants.

All businesses operating at Vlora’s historic centre or new businesses seeking to open in the area and are interested in applying should report with the association’s headquarters.

The historic centre of the southern coastal city is home to a number of cultural heritage sites with each featuring interesting facts and stories that can attract local and foreign visitors alike. The architectural style and design of many buildings create a king of uniformity that obviously distinguishes it from other areas in architectural terms.

Therefore, selection of businesses due to operate in this area will be made on basis of typical features that would promote development of sustainable tourism.
