TIRANA, Aug 26 /ATA/ Mayor of Vora, Agim Kajmaku, reacted on Monday against the attacks of DP according to which, he has been arrested in Greece on the charge of money counterfeiting.
In his reaction, Kajmaku refutes all the allegations adding that he sticks to previous statements.
“I have never got involved in trafficking and crime. I have always prioritized work and family. I have worked in Albania and abroad to earn a living and like all the Albanians have felt compelled to change my name in order to stay and work there,” he said.
“The DP is dealing with the lemons and tangerines of Albanian emigrants who have worked in a foreign country due to their circumstances! They pretend unawareness of how Albanians went by different names and surnames to survive in Greece,” mayor of Vora said.
He went on likening DP to a squeezed lemon nobody wants.
“Let the authorities have their say and we owe an apology to the citizens for this concern. I want to assure the citizens of Vora that regardless of this evil, I will always be on the line of duty! You trusted me with the vote on June 30 to change the face of our Vora and put the municipality at the disposal of the citizens,” Kajmaku said. /j.p/sm/
