TIRANA, August 16/ATA/-The leader of the Democratic Party in opposition Lulzim Basha reacted again today to the resignation of Shkodra Mayor Valdrin Pjetri, saying that, “Prime Minister Edi Rama brought dozens of criminals into politics and state offices.
Basha said that, “If compared with Edi Rama, Valdrin Pjetri is a third-degree criminal, a convicted drugs trafficker who has concealed his past.”
“It is Edi Rama who introduced him into politics and the state offices and promoted as MPs, mayors and high officials dozens of criminals with terrible criminal records, traffickers, rapists and even murderers. Edi Rama is a threat and danger to the life and safety of every Albanian family,” said Basha.
According to Basha, “Albania has turned into a haven of organized crime and money laundering from drugs trafficking and corruption.”/m.m/j.p/p.s./
