TIRANA, August 7/ATA/- The Albanian Electro Energetic Corporation has reacted to some inaccurate media reports on the water level at Fierza Lake stating that, despite the dry conditions over the past year, the situation at the Drin River cascade is under constant control and monitoring, focusing on optimal energy management .
In its response to the media, the Albanian Power Distribution (KESH) emphasized that works on the HPP Drin River cascade are being administered in an optimal utilization regime, in full compliance with the provisions of the Management Regulation ”.
KESH also assures the public that it will continue to generate electricity by optimally managing and administering the water flow of the Drin River cascade, and also remains open to cooperate with the media to accurately and in real time inform public opinion on the situation at the Drin River cascade.//a.i/
