TIRANA, July 24 /ATA/ – An official delegation from Saudi Arabia’s Commission for Tourism and National Heritage led by Ahmad Al-Khateeb visited one of Tirana’s main tourist attractions on Wednesday.
The Saudi delegation visited the National History Museum in Tirana, Albania’s largest and most important museum institution that contains a well-documented history of the country.
In his journey through history of Albanians, Dr. Khateeb experienced first-hand and learned about way of life of our people over the centuries, with the tools of work, different outfits, traditions and customs. The delegation saw the influences of the cultures of other peoples in our national culture, reflected in sculptures and mosaics.
Dr. Khateeb Dr. Khateeb was closely acquainted with the life and deeds of our National Hero, surprised at the suffering of the Albanian people over the years, appreciating the craftsmanship of Albanian craftsmen in woodwork and silver, as well as the unique wealth of cultural heritage of Albanians, part of the National History Museum fund.
“I will return to your museum,” Ahmad Al-Khateeb said after visit to the National History Museum.
