TIRANA, June 26 /ATA/-The first tourist ship set sail today in Durrës. Tourism Minister Blendi Klosi attended the event.
“Although we do have the first ship, we face many problems like navigation regulation, parking, the facilities that these investors should enjoy”, said Klosi.
The minister took the opportunity of holding a meeting on the challenges faced with all the hotel owners of Durrës coastal area and heads of associations.
The minister suggested that the businessmen should focus even on the sea, the port of yachts.
During a symbolic voyage on board of the first tourist ship in the coastal region of Durrës, the minister called on the business community to invest in creation of a new industry besides hotel-management, the sea.
The foreign tourists making a voyage with the tourist ship will have the opportunity of having a taste of the natural beauties of Cape of Rodon, Bisht Palla, the underwater ancient Durrës and the protected areas.
Last year, in Vlora resort there were two tourist ships while this current year their number has reached to 27. “We hope Durrës does the same », said the minister./a.a/j.p/p.s./
