TIRANA, Oct 12 /ATA/ Albania is securing its rightful place on the international tourism map, with 20 accommodation establishments included in the selection of the Michelin Guide, one of the internationally renowned names in travel and gastronomy.
According to the official list published by the Michelin Guide, the selected hotels are located in several of the country’s main destinations, including Tirana, Durrës, Vlorë, Himarë, Berat, Gjirokastër, Korçë and Sarandë.
The selection includes a variety of accommodation establishments, ranging from urban and luxury hotels to boutique hotels and coastal resorts, reflecting the diversity of Albania’s tourism offering.
Inclusion in the Michelin Guide recognises the quality of Albania’s accommodation establishments and helps promote the country’s tourism sector internationally, attracting travellers’ interest in Albanian destinations.
Known for its gastronomic guides, the Michelin Guide has expanded its activities to include hotel selections, offering travellers recommendations for accommodation and tourism experiences in various destinations.
