TIRANA, June 20 /ATA/- The works on building the “National Arena” have entered the final phase.
The new national stadium of 22.000 spectators is certainly the biggest sports investment made in Albania and that soon will open its doors.
Prime Minster Edi Rama posted a view of the “National Arena” stadium on the social media.
The new stadium is designed as a Roman or Greek theatre in which the public occupies three parts; there is a stage and a VIP area.
The historical element dominates. The entire stadium has the element of pillars symbolizing the style of the 1930s, an element closely connected with the historical period. There are more than 3 thousand pillars that surround the “National Arena” on which there are carved motifs of Albanian clothes.
“It will become the museum of the city and a museum of the Albanian Football Federation. We shall realize even videos of original content. We hope to give to Tirana and Albania the reconstructed history”, said earlier Architect Marco Casamonti./p.s./
