TIRANA, June 12/ATA/-Tourism Minister Blendi Klosi demanded from mayors to take measures so that to have a safe and quality summer season.
The minister made the statement during a meeting of the Task Force on Tourism in Himara during which he asked the mayors to pay attention not only to the electoral campaign for the June 30 municipal elections, but also to tourism. 
Minister Klosi emphasized that irrespective of the government commitment, the government decision on beach stations and up to amendments to the Penal Code envisaging punishment of noise pollution, the reality shows that the municipalities are far from implementing them in practice.
Klosi said that the more tourists come to Albania, the more responsibility there is to improve the tourist service.
The minister concluded by saying that the electoral campaign should not have any impact on management of safety and clean environment during the tourist season./a.a//a.g/p.s./
